A small Weapon Attack increase can look like an easy upgrade, but it does not automatically justify spending your Mesos. In MapleStory Classic World, compare the weapon available at each milestone instead of assuming bows or crossbows follow one fixed pattern. If you are planning currency for gear, keep MS Classic World Mesos separate from the decision itself, and let the stats and requirements shown in your game determine whether a purchase makes sense.

Early weapon comparisons favor checking each item

At level 10, the Crossbow has 32 Weapon Attack against the War Bow's 30. At level 15, the Battle Crossbow has 37, while the Composite Bow has 35. These are modest differences, not evidence that one weapon type always leads. Compare the exact options you can use rather than choosing by category alone.

The pattern switches at the next two milestones. At level 20, the Hunter's Bow has 42 Weapon Attack, three more than the Balanche. At level 25, the Mountain Crossbow has 47, compared with 44 for the Battle Bow. Treat those numbers as item-by-item comparisons: an attack advantage only matters if you meet the requirements and can afford the weapon without sacrificing a more useful purchase.

Plan spending around the level 25 cost

The level 10 War Bow and Crossbow are both sold by Karl in Henesys for 5,000 Mesos. At level 15, the Composite Bow and Battle Crossbow are each listed at 7,000 Mesos. These prices make the early choices straightforward to compare, but replacing a weapon at every milestone can use currency quickly for small gains.

At level 20, check the Hunter's Bow and Balanche before deciding whether your current weapon needs replacing. The level 25 Mountain Crossbow's 16,500-Meso price deserves a closer look: compare its three-point advantage over the Battle Bow with the Mesos you have available. If buying it would leave too little for other needs, wait and reassess rather than spending just because it has the higher attack value.

Level 30 adds crafting and attribute tradeoffs

At level 30, the Ryden has 50 Weapon Attack and +1 STR, while the Eagle Crow has 52 attack and +1 DEX. Both are listed as crafting options and require Woodcrafting level 6. The Eagle Crow leads on attack, but that alone does not make it the right choice for every character; consider which bonus attribute fits your plans and whether you can meet the weapon's requirements.

Before choosing crafting, list the materials you already have and price the ones you still need through player trading. Compare that total with the cost of a finished weapon. If you have not reached Woodcrafting level 6, include the time and resources needed to reach it. Crafting only saves Mesos when its full cost works better for you than buying the completed item.

Verify requirements before committing

Read the requirements on the weapon you plan to equip, not just the bonus stats. Extra STR or DEX does not make up for base attributes that fall short of the listed requirement. Check your character's base stats against the in-game item details before you pay or gather materials, especially when comparing the Ryden and Eagle Crow.

Older item lists can also differ from the values shown in your game. Use the listed milestones to narrow your options, then verify the attack, price, and requirements on the actual weapon before making a purchase. This keeps the comparison useful without treating any one bow or crossbow as the automatic choice.

Before your next upgrade, check your current weapon, compare the available milestone options, and reserve enough Mesos for the level 25 price if that purchase is part of your plan. Revisit the level 30 craft only when the attribute bonus, profession requirement, and full material cost suit your character. If you need to adjust your currency plan, buy MapleStory GMS Mesos only after confirming what the in-game item requires.

Plan your MapleStory Classic World Bowman budget around the level 25 weapon milestone and level 30 crafting, while checking attack, requirements, and replacement costs.
