Paglalarawan

Getting out of Hajin with your gear is a job in itself. Whether you're considering MW4 Bot Lobbies or heading into a regular match, it pays to have an exit in mind before the shooting starts. Look for the person-and-door icon on your map, then find the green smoke and interact with it to call a helicopter. Exfil points can be used again after a cooldown, but the one closest to the expanding radiation circle closes first. Leave yourself room to change plans.

What Happens When an Operator Goes Missing

A full squad wipe marks your Operator Missing in Action, with no plea option and no way to keep the contents of your backpack. Rescue can bring that Operator back with purchased Traits, unused Trait Points and Dog Tag Rank intact. Most of the loadout won't return, though, and the price rises with the Operator's level. Starting fresh saves the rescue fee but means giving up that progress. There's another catch: you can't select the same Operator who went missing, even if you use a different skin. Check the cost before making a decision.

Changes to Possum and Party Departures

Some launch-week fixes addressed losses that had little to do with a player's choices. On October 24, an update stopped Party Leaders from pulling teammates out of DMZ without their consent, which had marked those teammates' Active Duty Operators as missing. On October 28, Possum received new restrictions: it can't be activated while the team that eliminated you is nearby, or until four minutes have passed. Treat it as a chance to get away, not a quick route back into the same fight. That update also addressed an unwanted Possum revival and a black screen after a squad wipe.

Dog Tags Make You a Target

A Lieutenant drops a Dog Tag when eliminated. Pick it up and your case appears on the tactical map, giving other squads a reason to come looking. It's tempting to grab one on the way past, but make sure your team is ready to carry it out. On October 24, an update corrected information shown on looted Dog Tags and Bounties; the notes also listed a PC network error during extraction with a looted tag as a known issue. On October 29, a fix prevented players from storing a disconnected teammate's tag after extraction.

Prepare for the Ride Out

Carry a self-revive and a Med Kit when you can. Medical Clinics, shown in light green on the map, are worth checking when supplies run low. The Sky Heist Dynamic Op offers a private exfil if your squad completes it, though the helicopter needs defending along the way. Extraction fixes arrived on October 24 and October 29, addressing disappearing exfil helicopters and collisions with enemy aircraft. Clear your Overflow Stash before deploying, too. If you decide to buy MW4 DMZ Items, remember that equipment alone won't replace a route, a watchful squad and enough time to leave.

Ready for another Modern Warfare 4 DMZ run Keep your Dog Tags close, pack a Med Kit, and leave enough time to reach exfil.
